Arrival Honors Philippine Navy FOIC Ferdinand Golez Part 2

Rear Admiral Ferdinand Golez became Flag Officer in Command (FOIC) of the Philippine Navy on August 2, 2008. He is a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 1976. He is the first son of a Navy officer to become FOIC. His father was the late retired Navy Captain Salvador Golez of Dumangas, Iloilo. He is the brother of Paranaque Congressman Roilo Golez, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Class of 1970. His other brother, Elias Golez, a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy, Class of 1979, also served in the Navy. Video shows Admiral Golez being given Arrival Honors during the Change of Command Ceremony.
