Leader of the Band - A Memorial To My Father

Dr. Waldo E. Schellenger, married almost almost 60 years to my mother Jackie, died in late January 2002. He was not only my father, but my confidante and colleague. He was indeed, a man of music, interviewing and associating with some of the greats in the industry. He ran for Congress in the mid-50's and President Nixon, hearing his campaign song, took the song and made it his own. I miss my father, but he is always with me. This was emotionally difficult to do, but I did it for him. Before he died, I put one of his cassette recordings on the internet and he was so proud. He would have loved singing and playing for the YouTube community.
