@Gairlochan Hahaha.. yeah my parents RRs dig themselves completely underground trying to get burrowed animals - and they do. Pop had to fill in under a tree because it looked like it was going to fall over.
@bradkrit, I reckon if a RR (African Lion Hound, remember?) didn't learn to hop and jump in all different directions and get really good at it, it would get its noble head swatted off by a huge lion paw and wouldn't survive to breed! My ridgies bounce and hop-dodge a lot when they're play-fighting; I've never seen another breed do it, and it looks so funny! I'd like to know why they dig such big holes, especially at the beach; it's like having a wombat on the premises; another day, another hole

My RR does that when I throw a stick for him. "Pronking"... Didn't realise there was a name for it.

My ridgeback wont stop bouncing. Think its something instinctive? I've never had a ridgeback jump as much as my current one...
