This is recommended for the vw fsi, tsi and tfsi engines where the injectors are direct injection, this causes pcv oil fumes aswell as the exhaust gas recerculation fumes to form on the intake valves, this doesnt happen in non direct injection engines because fuel flows passed the valves.
This is a major design fault in the direct injection engines.
Products like this will help to keep the valve deposits at bay.
