I buy Flora organic sesame oil at iherb.com and if you are a new customer you can get $5 off anything with ongoing coupon code TAW742 (valid for 1 per household) It's good for your skin, hair, oil pulling etc...sniffed back into the sinuses, has cured chronic sinusitis. As a throat gargle, it kills strep and other common cold bacteria. It helps sufferers of Psoriasis and dry skin ailments. It has been successfully used in the hair of children to kill lice infestations.

The longer you leave the oil on your hair the better! I always prefer to leave it on overnight coz then the oil really soaks into your scalp well.
You don't need to use cotton wool to apply it. It's better to just use your fingers coz the cotton wool is actually soaking up most of the oil.

you can use olive oil as well :)

I agree with fromhouse2home, vegetable oil will not give you the same benefits--use sesame oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, olive oil , etc. but not that garbage.

how long does it take for hair 2 stop falling

instead of this you can go to any indian store and ask for a bottle of hair oil. it does the same thing without having to heat the oil. All you do is put it in with your hands [no cotton ball needed] for about an hour or overnight and TADAH silky hair the next day. The bottle will cost $5 at the most
Sesame oil contains several minerals such as copper, magnesium, and vitamin B1 (thiamin) to name a few. It is said that sesame prevents dandruff and stimulates hair growth. I don't believe vegetable oil will provide these benefits.

I have a question- Is it better than Coconut oil? My hair are falling and i am thinking about giving all natural treatments a try. May be hot oil massage at night and shikakai wash next morning. Any advice?

Hi Neha:
I use sesame oil because coconut oil tends to solidify in cool temperatures. Sesame oil nourishes and hydrates the scull, thus stimulating hair growth. Try using the hot oil treatment twice a week. If you do not see any improvement, contact a doctor, as you may have a medical condition. Hope this helps...
