Im a volunteer at Thomason Hospital. I have a badge that I swipe through to use the staff elevators. I am going to film all the elevators at Thomason someday.
I could understand, and that's why I only ride the public elevators in hospitals. I've done all 3 of the major hospitals in Austin, and I only did the public ones, but amazingly, no one stopped me.
The staff elevator at the Children's Hospital at Palmetto Health Richland requires badges as well, but since I was with the Media Services, I was able to ride them.
