  • All of the women were Native women? Some with blonde hair look caucasian to me...But some could be just half and half.

I hope the ones who are missing will be found and the ones whose murders are unsolved, I hope their families will find closure one day...

    God bless...

  • We all know that violence sees no color...over half, well most of the women are Native women who were basically perpetrated by controlling men who were for a women they thought didn't mean anything.....and because our women are stereo typed as prostitutes, drug addicts, women who are easy targets.

Respect women, stand for the lives of those who are lost, yet never forgotten.

there are over 3000 missing and murdered women across canada....just in the last ten years..over half are unsolvedcases

  • @LeanaJoH76 No need for forgiveness. There is no stereotypical look for First Nations now. We identify ourselves. So many people wear the latest styles in hair and clothes. We wear ceremonial clothes too, for the occasions. Some love to try those of other tribes if they are available. We all like trying new things sometimes. We're not all the same. Mixed blood people are welcomed. No-one defines how we can look or be. We have our culture, customs and traditions to define ourselves.

  • just an update my cousin Rene's body was found may 20th thanks for everyone support and prayers its means alot to my family but most of all to my uncle and her son.

  • my cousin rene is one of this women who were on your vedio thanks for making this :) and she left behind her young son and hope we find her soon.

  • Women should all take a self defense course and learn how to use a handgun and get a concealed weapon. The US police force used to offer defense classes but stopped because they had liability issues- maybe someone sued them. If you can't do these things then at least get pepper spray.

  • @BrunetteLiana76 Not all Indian descended people look Indian- if you look closely you can make out specific tribal features. Tori Amos is E. Cherokee & she has some similar features to Jana who is Lumbee which is similar to E. Cherokee. Also Heather Locklear is Lumbee. Women will be targeted who are alone & out of sight- don't matter sometimes about race but some attackers will feel more inclined to kill darker skinned girls cause they feel are3rd class cit. to white women who 2nd class to 'em.

  • 1:23 :S

  • So sorry for your loss. I hope that the girls were found in good health. I am doing a presentation on the Pickton case and I am just besides myself!!!! I am disgusted by how a lot of Canadians are not even aware of what is going on in their own backyards. I am African.

  • Yes there are some native people who look like white women just like there are some black women who look like white women.

  • it is terrible when people go missing and you find them dead. I hate it when that happens. Mabye some of the people that murdered that person is mabye dead. You never know.

  • Okay, my mistake, Sorry!!

I found out the other day that I'm a Native American too (Cherokee & Nez Perce). That both my Grandma's parents were both full blooded Cherokee and Nez Perce. I too, don't have dark skin either (olive shade).

I too, used to have blonde hair (for 6 years). Sorry, okay...Please forgive.
