@arisuta2, Ah I see now, thanks very much for explaning

@GLORD99092, it's a Robert Burns poem, if you do a bit of research you will get the meaning. Basically he is saying that we are all the same under the skin, whether we are a king or a pauper a man is still just a man. An honest man is actually better than a famous or powerful man who is corrupt or a liar for all that he might be rich and powerful.

LOL What the hell is he saying?
He just keeps saying "For aw that"

This poem doesn't mean SHIT for Scottish independance. Don't twist a classic for your own gain, you sick fool.

@Broshmosh
From Donald Dewar's speech at the opening of the Scottish Parliament, 1 July 1999.- “ At the heart of that (poem by Burns) is a very Scottish conviction: that honesty and simple dignity are priceless virtues, not imparted by rank or birth or privilege but part of the soul. Burns believed that sense and worth ultimately prevail. He believed that was the core of politics; that without it, ours would be an impoverished profession.”

@AYEscotland Right, thanks for that, I could tell that myself.
Now explain to me how that links to the aims and goals of the SNP.

@Broshmosh The video never said anything about SNP. What are you on about?
