  • This tune is from Horacee's great Columbia record "Tribe". He is a fabulous composer. That album and his follow up, "Tales of the Exonerated Flea", and work he did on other folks' albums (like Sonny Fortune) are must listening. They're out of print. Find 'em if you can.

  • I know Marcus. I used to play with him many years ago. He has a twin brother E.J. who's a great drummer. I remember calling some standards back then and he had an attitude about that but I'm sure that was because he was very young back then. I've heard him playing standards recently. By the way this guitarist is playing some bullshit. He's got no lines. Marcus can play though. He's alright.
