I recently aquired a M-Audio FireWire 410.
I've had the keyboard mic and Midi interface sitting around for a while now, and I finally got to put it all together.

  • dude i need your help...i have the firewire410 and fruityloops...first, does your m-audio control panel work? and in the fruity loops mixer i cant get any of the mic inputs to show up, only the analog and spdif...did you have any of these problems?

  • @MurdaSquadinc yeah, I did have these problems. and I'm sorry, but I don't exactly remember what I did to fix that either.... you can try to make sure you selected the mAudio ASIO driver for your main sound driver.

  • hey bro I have the same things than u lol the same sinth and I use FL studio too but what about ur interface?

have u had troubles with it ? firewire 410 is it a good interface? can u tell me about it

  • @athor14 I've had no problems whatsoever. there are only two inputs you can use at a time. you have a dual XLR and standard jack combo on the front and two standard jacks in the back and then ten outs. 8 being standard instrument jacks, one adat, and one SPDIF. there is also an ADAT in too, and a spdif in too. works great, no lag time for sampling. my drum instructor has one and had it working MIDI thru to his roland drums.

  • what program do you use for vocoding? i need it lol

  • FruityLoops

  • Dude, clean your room!

  • what the song you singing?

  • @MurdaSquadinc I have a tascam US 144 but I think F410 has better preamps and it has more line outs and that is good for me I am thinking to buy it but I dont know yet. it has 8 line outs and with the SPDIF 10 and that is good but it has just 2 line ins i dont like that. louddrummer said that it has ADAT format backside of the interface but it is just SPDIF with a fiber optical cable there is not adat there

so I am thinking it cuz i might buy something better later with that money

  • @athor14 yea i use the 410. it works very well. it has a pad down button for strong instruments. what are your intended uses?

  • @louddrummer hey i figured everything out. im pretty good with music equipment but the problem was the driver. easy fix. 410 works solid for me. Good luck on ventures bro.

  • @MurdaSquadinc hi bro I use FL studio too, can u use ur firewire410 with FL??
