  • Jon Foreman of Switchfoot co-wrote this song, apparently. Pretty good song, I can see bits of his influence in it. Especially the lyric, "Living doesn't come first try. It takes a lifetime getting it right." Just sounds like something he would say...

  • @DAluvr2816 did you give him a hug:p

  • beast song man if htough its lyrics but i dont see no lyrics :P cya my game started..

  • @IdRatherBinADream92 not exactly lol I put my arm around him to take the picture, but I didn't hug him :( I should have tho...when we were waiting in line, I was like "I call standing next to him!" just so I could touch him hahaha I'm a freak XD

  • @TissueShoe you were right, says it on wikipedia:)

  • @DAluvr2816 what'd you say to him,him to you?

  • @wayzatalax yeah that too, but i think he's kinda putting it out there since a lot of people are bashing him for winning AI, even though that was a long time ago. my friend is STILL saying that adam should have won, and i love them both, but i always say that they both write great songs that have really good meanings to them...so yeah, whichever way you slice it, the song gives that general feeling of finding yourself.

  • Love this song, I wish I knew all the words so I could sing along. Thanks for posting!

  • to the post below, I'm pretty sure it is a metaphor for life in general. He is saying that it takes a lot to figure out who you are and what your place is in this world.

  • i'm just gonna elaborate what he's saying when he says "it takes a lifetime to learn how to sing, to find my place in the worlds symphony, to become the melody (or man today?)" what he's saying is that it takes alot to become famous in music, or to just become a musician in general. it takes even more to be recognized for your talent, even though you might not be the most popular musician out there. you may not be in the melody, but at least your in the song :) kris is so inspirational :)

  • Awesome!!! He does change the last ones to "could" be I believe; not to be picky at all! Thank you so much for posting...incredible sound quality as well! :)
