1/4 mile race between Emich Volkswagen's Turbo R32 built by C2 Motorsports and a stock R32. Race held at Bandimere speedway near Denver, CO elevation 5860 feet. Turbo R32 finished in 13.90 seconds at 104 MPH while stock R32 finished in 16.32 seconds at 85.51 MPH.

why does it not use launch controll?

After we installed the turbo the software at the time was unable to run launch control, however we have now taken the vehcile from a stage I to Stage III turbo with software that allows the launch control to work. We are rerunning the car at the track tonight. We are hoping to run in the upper 11's.

$41,999 is our cost on the vehicle and what I am willing to sell it for. The vehicle has approximately 4,000 miles on it that either myself or the folks from C2 motorsports have put on it.

That's great! What kind of difference does this make vs. sea-level? In other words, is there some type of "formula" for the difference in sea-level/conditions?

Curious as to what this would run at sea-level.

Both of these cars are bad.

Actually the time does not start until the car moves. As far as launch control is concerned. It does not work the same with the turbo as it did when the vehicle was stock. Remember this race was at 6000 ft so the times reflect that.
