Mister Georg - wow! so very inspiring to watch you play - and Thank You so very much for you great big long 26 page article on bowing etc. Haven't gotten through it yet but reading it in bed. I just started cello at almost 53 years old and so sad I didn't begin 40 years ago!!!! I am hopeful of getting better music out of my lower two string with the help of your article! Have only had three lessons since I got the cello, but enjoying playing simple hymns already like Ode to Joy

Better than my attempt - great!

no, specifically this one is FOR cello.
the original is obviously for guitar.
but this one is FOR cello.
like when you say, "romance" for cello and piano
or "romance" for electric guitar
or "romance" for flute.

the cello gives to the song a melancoly sound that sticks in your heart. but i gotta say that the guitar gives to the song something else, it gives to the piece the energy to GET into your heart.

You captured it quite right! Usually this place - a silent cave - is peaceful and darkish, my favourite performance place. Although I am grateful to the video man, who introduced me on that day to Youtube, he brought this one strong light, straight in my face, and I couldn't find inner peace, especially in the beginning. Cheers G.
