This is one of two tracks released on 12/6/2010 by Speed Dealer Moms.
They are John Frusciante, Aaron Funk, Chris McDonald. They describe their songs:
"We each come in with many drum machines, synths, modulars, fx, mixers etc. Our process is based on listening to each other's programming as we go, and reacting to that as we each program our own parts. Playing off each other in every stage as we write. We record live to stereo and as a rule with these, there are no overdubs and no edits. We don't know who will drop which of our many parts over what other parts which makes it a really exciting way to jam out a piece of music. This can result in drastically different versions of the same track"

  • cool who did the interview?

  • All I see in the comments are Red Hot Chili Pepper Fan's not knowing what they are listening to.

In the meantime this is a good enough replacement for Aaron not releasing any Last Step for this year.

  • People are commenting like this is a solo venture for John Frusciante when there are 3 people in the group so remove your blinkers! This sounds exactly like Venetian Snares Huge Chrome Cylinder Box Unfolding material which is a great thing, all the negativity is coming from the 'eeurrgh electronic music isn't music' camp, I wish people wouldn't be so naive.

  • This is so experimental! I love it.

  • @DanimalHolland Well, if you were to define the verb "to gram" (no idea what it would mean, but there we go), then someone who performed that action would be "a grammer". Until that time, indeed, grammar can only be spelled with no e's.

  • @RedHotSpank id love to see you program any of this sequences and rhythm patterns... being complex doesnt mean it has to be good nor of your taste... but saying this is shit is like saying caviar is bad just because u dont like the taste of it... i personally love big mac

  • @zwerty007 Wow, idiot of the year award goes to zwerty! There IS NO OTHER WAY OF SPELLING THE WORD GRAMMAR THAN WITH THE LETTERS G, R, A, M, another M, A and R. You fool.

  • heaven and hell in a box that you can put your head in and get lost for those who like to live with nothing to lose

  • Wow they use the voice synth on the monomachine beautifully here. Creepy and pretty at the same time. Fantastic stuff.

  • @Wyattlulz Some countries spell grammer differently to other countries, okay?

  • @zwerty007 Before one comments on another person's "grammer" they should probably know how to correctly spell grammar :).

  • @Wyattlulz Freaking hell. Fan's? I agree with you, but not this atrocious grammer of yours.

  • This gave me the weirdest boner! totally forgot about SDM!
