  • "I read somewhere that you don't treat people over the age of 55"

Don't know where you read that. Most patients are in the 40-70 age range where age-related changes to the vitreous occur. - Dr. J

  • I am not aware on anyone in South America doing this. I'll gladly come to Brazil to teach if you can get the medical community to invite me down. I'll start brushing up on my Portugese. Dr.J

  • tkcwu,

no not at all. It is painless, and my patients usually drive themselves home immediately afterwards. The eye is fully recovered from the dilated drops by several hours after. the eye is back to normal (minus the treated floater material) by the next morning.

  • I have a loooot of VITREOUS FLOATERS in my boths eyes, some are very smalls and others are like a single twisted hair....is posible tocure this?? how much is the procedre in usa?

  • @MysteryUser2011 you might have ankylosing spondylitis

  • @Savinjackson That is not true at all. I have had a huge black dot with a tail for over 2 years driving me insane, now I have threads that blur, they arent dark but I have to blink a thousand times and have to move my eyes around fast when i read because it goes right over where the words are. These things make me so depressed and angry. I am 28 years old and have had them since I was 10. The old one is visible to my eye Dr., that's how big it is. I see them EVERY DAY ALL DAY LONG

  • @chokingman okay i see thanks for the reply .

  • @georgelewis It depends how much treatment you will need. I will put his web site's price policy.

  • @ELCHINGONZOTE Checking eye is for 250 bucks. First and second treatment is 1850 bucks for each eye. From third treatment is 400 bucks.

  • @globalk100 I went to this place. and I had his laser treatment. Laser treatment is not like perfect treatment. but I got less floaters and I feel much better now.
