Clarification: The sound the string makes after it has been plucked (hit/pinched) and still plucking the string. Listenning to the soundwaves changing when the pegs are turned. Going up or down.

Great video. And good tip using the metronome. Good video effect indeed :)
When I teach my students I also teach them to listen to the soundwaves made when you turn the pegs in either direction. Listenning to the soundwave makes them able to anticipate when the strings is in tune or getting close to it, and also makes them able to practice their ears and determine by their own if it is too low or too high.

Thanks. There are so many different methods of tuning I sort of like to see how well each works for me.
How do you actually tune your guitar to achieve this "tempered tuning"?

After I tune the first string to the tuning fork, I make sure that the second string sounds perfect when struck open with the 1st. Then, the 3rd and the 2nd are struck together, and so on. You can hear the vibrations speed up an slow down as the two get further away, or closer in harmony. This is a 4th interval for most strings, except the 2nd, 3rd comparison, which is a 3rd interval. I want the guitar to sound good in as many chords possible, so I tweak it a bit afterward too.
