In our continuing series on "Famous European Squares" we're off to one of the busiest and most hair raising traffic roundabouts in Europe in the middle of Paris. And indeed the Place Charles de Gaulle looks rather round but actually with 12 roads leading off it it's more star shaped. In fact it used to be called "Place de l'Etoile" - "star square" but in 1970 it was renamed to honour the country's former President.
