Pharm is a "new" band of six creative and experienced musicians and videomakers.They play together to set up an audio/video live performance based on original music and video creation and manipulation. The sound is a blend of grooves, rarefied zones and free improvisation in which are mixed the acoustic (two drums and saxophones), electric (two basses and theremin) and electronic instruments (sampler, synthetizers, electronic drums and effects) and the different experiences of the members of the group (electronic music, rock, improvised music, songwriting, free jazz)
The visual performance is based on live shooting on the stage, video feedbacks and prepared shoots that are live edited and manipulated by analogic machines in colour and focus.
The process of the video creation has been developed simultaneously with the musical one from the birth of this idea: this makes Pharm a unique multimedial experience.........
