@Wien We had teaser video of Sonic Xtreme (youtube it.... ugh) and the 3d section of Sonic Jam, and that was it. I bought Sonic R with gusto and excitement.
And I was roundly punished for it. Fuck this game, fuck that TERRIBLE soundtrack, and fuck Travelers' Tales.

I am very glad you did this game. Back in those Saturn days, we Sega nerds were dying for a Sonic game that even remotely resembled Mario 64. There are a million sonic games out now, but between Sonic and Knuckles and Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast, there was a shocking drought of Sonic games. When Sonic R was announced (developed by Travelers' Tale, makers of such awesome games like Rascal on the PSone... play that some day), this was pretty much all we had.

@TheIrishAvengerCBM It's even better than that, i'm playing a PC port of a saturn game, on a gamecube collection, on my wii, using my capture card to play it on my PC.
