It's not crap--it's true. The United Nations even published a huge report on it. It's called "Livestock's Long Shadow." Look it up. And this is not an animal rights group that did this--it was the UNITED NATIONS. That says a LOT.

Considering I get the nutrients I need from plants, and plants aren't animals, that makes you the moron. Raising animals for food is a waste of resources. If people ate plants directly, the air would be less polluted, and less resources would be used. It takes an average of 7 pounds of grain to produce 1 pound of animal flesh. More crops can be grown per acre of land than animals.

Because everyone wants to eat meat everyday we need to do intensive mass animal farming, which produces alot of methane. That gas is one of the imortant greenhouse gases.
another origin of methane is rice cultivation
but there are also alot of other origins and also other gases that are amongst others, contributers to global warming.
