OK, I have heard for many years that there was a physician who created peanut butter: WHO WAS HE? If he was not George Washington Carver. WHO WAS HE?

Professor Lowery did not say that GWC created peanut butter. He did say, however that GWC popularized peanut butter. By the way, who was that Missouri physician who created peanut butter? Everything that I have read says that the physician was unknown. That's very suspicious to me.

GWC did not create Peanut Butter. The credit goes to a Missouri physician who helped people with bad teeth get the nutritional benefits of peanut butter.

GWC really is a genius and worthy of much study.

True. He did NOT create peanut butter which probably existed among Native Americans long before being credited by the Missouri physician since peanuts are a "New World" crop. I have no idea why they always think of peanut butter with Carver when he created things like nut cheeses, nut milks, ice creams, soaps, shampoo, ink, fuel (i.e. gasoline), meat substitutes, etc. from the peanut.

yes, that's correct..Carver surely made uses for it to be of existence though...distantly..he had caused a stir for the use of peanut's..though.
i am glad you cleared it up.

yeah but nothing he invented was widely used, but you are right people looked into more uses for because of all the research he did

Nice video of a great man. Too bad more people don't follow the fine example of George Washington Carver; it would be a much better world if we all did.
