  • The Supreme Courts do NOT consider people's personal OPPINIONS and feelings. They judge base on the LAW.

That's why we will win this issue on Courts. The laws are on our side for EQUAL RIGHTS.

My answer wud be just fallow the LAWS and make justice.

    Great video.

  • So, with comments like the last one, is it any wonder we need protection from the TYRANNY OF THE MAJORITY? Stupidnova you represent "Yes on 8" so well!

  • @Supernova310 you are a very very bad person, your sex life must be bad with your woman. you should try a man(:

  • What they are invalidating is not the amendment, but how it was put to a vote.

They are invalidating the amendment because of how it was placed on the ballot. Issues like constitutional amendments should NEVER be able to pass via petition and go straight to the public without legislation.

When that happens you get all kinds of scandals, messing with the voters, misinformation and such.. You wouldn't want the supreme court to write in an unchangeable law on misinformation would you?

  • O.k., o.k., that was my initial reaction to your inflamatory post. But, seriously, you really sound like you have some issues you need to work on -- may I suggest some counseling with a progressive mental health professional. Killing kids is not a normal suggestion, just in case you were wondering?

  • Hicks do marry their sisters -- in states like Arkansas, which just recently passed a ban prohibiting gays from adopting -- probably where you're from stupidnova (my apologies to those in the state who voted against the ban). I'd say, better get back to "yer" closet - and, while you're in there, learn to spell. P.S. Better be glad there's no way to "single out new born twisties" -- you wouldn't be around - twisted mf. I am so sorry for your poor kids.

  • duelo99 - it is actually the JOB of the CA Supreme Court to determine which laws are constitutional and which laws are not. It is their DUTY to look at prop 8 and make that determination. And you can't revise our constitution with a simple majority.

  • supernova310, your mother must be so proud

  • cool next lets let hicks marry their sisters and weirdos marry their house pets. I refuse to be leniant to someones choice to take it in the ass. Hey you do what you do but stay in the fucking claset. Better yet if i wer running shit we would find a way to single out new born twisties and toss em in a fuckin incenorator before they're old enough to march down the street with dildos and keep my kids from gettin to work.

  • EQUALITY FOR ALL!!!!!!!

  • The California Supreme Court does not have the authority to invalidate a constitutional amendment! Not withstanding whether the ban is morally right or wrong; this is a constitutional issue. There is much more at stake than whether you call it a "Marriage" or a "Civil Union". If the California Supreme Court tries to invalidate a constitutional amendment voted on & passed by the people of California, then the people should address this behavior by the last means open to them! My opinion!
