@Cavalierman1000 Err, No. He died because he had to shoot down the Cruiser, so Cortana could escape. When he shot it down, the Pillar Of Autumn, the last ship to leave Reach, was already gone, and therefore, he was stuck, alone, on a planet full of Covenant.
Not even a Spartan could kill them all.
