@SaxDude1995 The optimum is going to have a lot more consistency to it... Tuning throughout the range, dynamics throughout. You won't have any notes that are randomly louder/softer sharper/flatter anywhere. It's also a much much darker sound. Having played both the C* and AL3, I personally recommend the AL3.

@dejankrajnc, I have that rico reed case, It works really well. Whilst most of ricos reeds are pretty rubbish, this product is great.
