  • @michaeldavidgantt, why does your misinterpretation and twisting of Scriptures require the Holy Spirit to appear capricious and inconsistent?

  • @michaeldavidgantt, your arrogance is yet again on display here.

Either Paul wrote Scriptures inspired by the Holy Spirit, or he did not. If Paul's Scriptures were indeed inspired by the Holy Spirit, and he called himself "father" to the people, then your misinterpretation of "call no man father" is obvious. Also obvious is that I am correct in saying Jesus used hyperbole in speaking to the Pharisees and never meant it literalistically as you misinterpret.

  • @michaeldavidgantt, Catholic men authored the New Testament based on Catholic oral teachings. The New Testament and indeed the entire 73 book Bible is a Catholic Church document. Why do you arrogantly tell the Holy Spirit that He is wrong?

  • @michaeldavidgantt, those assigned by God to teach His truth, including the Scriptures are still here on earth with us, as a living authority.

Scriptures are abundantly clear that you are not to try to be a final authority of interpreting them, because you'll twist them to your own destruction... just as you have shown us you are doing. You are the malfeasant here.

  • @michaeldavidgantt, I have showed you exactly what was present in John 1 - Matt 16 - and John 21. That you don't like what Jesus has established, for whatever reasons, is your personal problem. Unlike you, I will not deny what God has established.

  • @michaeldavidgantt, I would have to say that you are essentially a nonbeliever in God's word, His Church, and His plan for salvation. You only believe in your own misinterpretations which you've substituted for God's teachings.

You are one among many twisting Scriptures. You are just as Peter described, unlearned and unstable.

  • @michaeldavidgantt, by your incomplete logic, the Scriptures are man made, since they were written down by men. You neglect to give proper credit to the Holy Spirit in God's Catholic Church. Catholic men authored the New Testament with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. You blaspheme when you say the work of Jesus' Catholic Church is the work of erroneous men. The Holy Spirit deserves to be recognized.

  • @michaeldavidgantt, I have not erred. Your arrogant false claims stand in direct opposition to Christ. You sadly twist Scriptures to your own destruction. Why don't you listen to the Scriptures who tell you not to engage in private interpretations.

  • @michaeldavidgantt, all the Apostles had missions to teach and preach. Yet, they all did so knowing the Peter is the head of the Apostles.

Since you bring up when Peter (Rock) is mentioned in Scriptures...,

Why is Rock (Peter) always the first in any list of the Apostles?

Why is (Rock) Peter mentioned 195 times, while the rest of the other Apostles combined are only 130 times.

Why did Jesus change Simon's (and only Simon) name to Rock, then tell him he will be Rock of His Church.

  • @michaeldavidgantt, James and John being called pillars don't take anything away from Peter's authority established by God. It means they were participating properly with Peter according to Jesus' will, and so on the fight track. The Catholic Bishops in union with the pope are today also pillars of God's Catholic Church.
