Another theory is that: Elizabeth thinks that the other kids are there because they also have imaginary frineds. So shes imagine that the kids also have imaginary friends that only Fred can see (and she cant see the other imaginary friends because of my first theory)

I find this scene really interesting, and i know Critic questioned it when he reviewed this movie, but i think i understand it.
Here's my theory: the reason why Elizabeth and the other kids can only see thier own imaginary friend is because the other ones are not from thier imagination, and as you know, theres not two imaginations thats the same.
