Everyone ripped on this fucking movie SO bad... i loved it. i can't wait for a dvd release. this and american psycho are the two best ellis adaptations. (rules of attraction and less than zero were great too, though).

This movie was great! Best BEE adaptation yet. Don't let the bad reviews fool you. What MAY Come across to some as a boring plotless film is actully a great study on emotional disconnection and Moral decay.

I'm not surprised that your general cinema movie goer didn't like this, but the fact that almost all critics slammed this movie too is quite a surprise to me. The only criticism of this movie I have is that it is much tamer than the book. Directors should be fearless!

Are you suprised on lot of people don't like it? Sadly the most of audience will never understand Brett Easton Ellis,,, Common cinema visitors just want another fancy CGI effects show and ape like orcs ... :S If the story has deeper meaning, they won't like it..
