Long Shot Candidate? Ron Paul

Main stream media keeps repeating the phrase "Long Shot" in describing Congressman Ron Paul's bid for the Presidency - This is my response!

I'll tell you what...I'd vote for him if he did 2 things! Change the voting date to April 14th, and have Congressman serve from their homestate and not in DC where lobbyists just have to walk down the hall to buy votes. Until then Its gonna be Hillary/Obama ticket and theyll win.

But if he doesn't do those things, you sound like you support Hillary/Obama - How can he change either of those two things if he doesn't win the election? Why aren't you voting for him for all the right reasons? Your response really lacks logic. Care to explain?

I have found a wide variety of people from all over the world, who support Ron Paul. I guess you would argue that ice cream is bad because someone you abhor, detest or fear finds it delicious. Ron Paul is the right candidate for America and I'm glad so many people agree. That is how a President gets elected!

that is like the student who complained that a professor was parked in the only vacant spot! If someone voted for Perot, it was neither a vote for Bush nor Clinton - Bush lost because he got fewer votes - I did not support Sr. Bush nor do I support Jr. but I did not vote for Clinton!

Something that the lamestream polls use are REGISTERED voter lists (republican and democrat only mostly) and, of these, they only use those who have voted in the two most recent elections. Dr. Paul is appealing to many people who have either stopped voting for the lesser of two evils or are considered 'independents'. Neither polling practice is likely to garner many Ron Paul supporters.
