That war in Iraq was mostly over the poppies for the illegal drugs the old boy's organized crime in gov. makes money off of, wasn't it? Isn't that why they are keeping a grip on Afghanistan?

Michael Parenti is not an original or an agent of change he is a good professor and that's it. There are others who lived the life and took positions within the empire and who learned from the inside and then escaped to tell their story. While I cant disagree with his points just the position from which he tells this story as an outsider who never had to deal from the inside. I prefer Chalmers Johnson or Wiliam Blum who both faced the empire from the inside and lived to tell.

Any small nation seeking to have a clean breakaway from the mass murdering Debt Syndicate, must bring a considerable ground force to Battle Stations to effect a bid for independence.
This force must be prepared & supplied to fight to the death, exactly down to the bitter end ontop of their primary resource points.
