Thank you, Athena, for discouraging the use of elbows in trying to relieve back pain. As a long time sufferer of sciatica, I've found that my back and hips don't respond favorably to their use on me.

It would seem (although I could be wrong ofcourse) that a cranio sacral emphasis could complement the re-balancing that occurs in upper cervical care after corrections of the c1. I can feel that they're all related and my progress has been slowed because of my bent tailbone and twisted mis aligned sacrum and lowered pelvic floor muscles etc.

Athena is obviously a fine MT but I wish she'd stop spouting New Age hostility to what she calls ''western medicine.'' That's nonsense. Millions of people just in America who eat wisely and exercise still suffer from diseases annually and require conventional medical attention.

@xflaxen1 RMT's are paid 80$ for an hour, 120$ for an hour and a half. We can work with Sports teams PGA, NHL... etc. So really it depends where you work and how good you are. But your typical salary is 80$ a massage for an hour.

@XxquickpenxX Wow! $1000?? Are MT paid good there?
@athenaraven1 I agree people should be responsible for their own health...but no matter how much this is emphasized, there will be some people who do NOT take responsibility for their own health--they will continue to eat poorly, and not exercise, etc, and they will get diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc. What then? Of course they should should be counseled on improving their diet and exercising more, but for some people, that won't be enough...what then?

Great video... but I must disagree with you when you say the sphenoid bone becomes rotated to counteract the displacement of the sacral spine region. The sutures between the bones of the skull and the pressure created by the joints betweens said bones will not allow for the bone to simply rotate out of place. Please look at this from a true anatomically correct perspective.
