i actually completely disagree

i think that the fact that they cut this out makes the relationship between rachel and luce AND rachel and heck stronger.

because it seems more like she wants a woman's touch and not just luce's touch

and i find it much more romantic if she just wants luce

and the fact that there's ANOTHER scene where she just ignores heck really trivializes their relationship

it's just way too much.

but i do see why some people would say it was a cute scene...

Thirdly, the scene that verifies that the main character is contrasting her heterosexual relationship with the idea of a lesbian relationship is at :41 . This scene tells us that Perabo's character isn't just falling in love with someone else; she is falling out of love with being with a man and is seeking the intimacy shared between two women. This is a gay film.

Exactly! this scene needed to stay in..it should her contemplating the life & how her emotions were deeping. they harder had scenes with them. cut, minutes from the grocery store. Cut the crying lady in shop. Replace the blondguy with rach & luce when she delivers the flowers to the restaurant. hell, they needed to take a walk/enjoy an evening out after h's presentation! Just needed 2 show THEM MORE!
