Inseparable - A JB Love Story [Chapter 11, Part 1]

So, in the last chapter, Caroline left off for her first date with Nick, yay! Will he find out that she doesn't like JB's music? IDK, read on to find out!
Mer, I wanna ride a roller coaster so bad right now, geez. I haven't riden a coaster in YEARS. I live in Sicily, Italy for crying out loud! I know, random. I'm sure you don't wanna hear about my lame desires. On to the story:

*They get in the car and start driving.*
Nick: Okay, this is not a "Jonas" thing or anything, I'm just curious. What's your favorite song that we've written? [Ironic, eh?]
Caroline: Oh my God. Wow, okay. So Taryn told me to say Year 3000, and Jay told me to say Burnin' Up, but do you wanna know the truth?
Nick: What?
Caroline: I don't really like your music.
Nick: *laughs* Are you serious?!
Caroline: Yeah. Like, you're making me feel bad.
Nick: I'm sorry. But why?
Caroline: I don't really like your sound.
Nick: *laughs hysterically* So I'm dating an anti-Jonas?
Caroline: Pretty much. I don't mean it.
Nick: This is one of those times when Joe would say, "Awkward." That is hilarious.
Caroline: That was weird. I won't say anything bad other than that, though. I mean, I like the lyrics and stuff; I just don't like the sound.
Nick: Wow. That's pretty crazy. It's okay, though. We don't expect everyone to like our music.
Caroline: I won't criticize it.
Nick: Excellent. Well, now that we got that out of the way, tell me about yourself.
Caroline: I was born here, raised here, and I'm a junior. I lead a pretty simple life.
Nick: We are just completely opposite. That's pretty crazy. I like it that way.
Caroline: Okay.
Nick: So, ice cream. I like ice cream. More specifically chocolate.
Caroline: I like strawberry.
Nick: Okay. Well, there is a Cold Stone around here.
Caroline: I love Cold Stone!
Nick: Really? I've only had it once, and it was pretty good.
Caroline: Like, Jay, she'd like, get chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips, Oreos, and chocolate sprinkles.
Nick: Wow. Maybe I'll try it. Maybe.

*Jaydlyn and Taryn*
Jayldyn: So, Taryn, what do you wanna do ton-*phone rings* Wait, hello?
Joe: Hey, baby. Do you want to hang out tonight?
Jaydlyn: I would, but is it okay if Taryn came?
Joe: Yeah, Kev can come, too.
Jaydlyn: Okay, where do you wanna meet?
Joe: Can you pick us up at the hotel?
Jaydlyn: Yeah, give us fifteen. Okay?
Joe: Okay, love you, bye.
Jaydlyn: Bye. *to Taryn* You wanna hang out with Joe and Kevin?
Taryn: Yeah! But I look a mess.
Jaydlyn: Yeah, me, too.
Taryn: We can go to my house.
Jaydlyn: Okay, where is it?
*After about five minutes, they came to Taryn’s house. They freshened up and went back out to the hotel where the Jonas family was staying. They pulled up to the hotel and Jaydlyn dialed Joe*
Jaydlyn: We're outside.
Joe: We're coming outside. Look ahead.
Jaydlyn: Oh, okay.
Joe: *gets in car* So, what are we doing?
Jaydlyn: You asked to go out.
Kevin: I don't really care.
Taryn: Well, we gotta figure out something.
Kevin: Joe.
Joe: I don't know. I just wanted to get out of the hotel.
Jaydlyn: Mt. Trashmore.
Taryn: Oh yeah!
Joe: Mt. What?
Kevin: "Trashmore" doesn't sound really inviting.
Jaydlyn: But it is.
Kevin: What is that?
Taryn: It used to be a trash dump, but people put fertilizer and stuff on it and watered it, and now it's Virginia Beach's "monument."
Joe: Okay, but if I smell anything, we're out.
Jaydlyn: It's fine.
*they drove to Mt. Trashmore and got out of the car*
Joe: Dude, is that a park?
Taryn: Yeah, it is.
Jaydlyn: *grabs Joe's hand* Let's go!
Kevin: Dude, is that a skate park?
Joe: Bro, we're definitely hittin' this place again before we leave.
*For about fifteen minutes, they climb around on the massive playground. When everything died down, Jaydlyn and Joe sat on the side while Kevin and Taryn walked up the hill*
Kevin: This is really nice.
Taryn: Yeah, I love this place. It's really quiet, and you can think.
Kevin: Yeah, you know those times when you just stop to take a look at nature and you just think about things-
Taryn: And when you leave, you don't remember what you were thinking about. All you know is that during that time you were there-
Kevin: You didn't think about anything else, just the peace, quiet, and the nature.
Taryn: Exactly. This is one of those places where you can do that.
Kevin: Yeah.
