Lagest - YES, but why do they ask Rs.10,000 for each & every cat to be kept there? Is this a good policy, how can some common person wishing to save a life be able to pay such a high amount?

This is because there are lot of money plants planted at karunakunj, but they realy do'nt yeld any money......

Was shocked to learn that they ask Rs.10,000 per cat/kitten to be kept there. Mr. Chakrabarty glorify by saying that today no. of cats have reduced there to 30+ from 120+ about 6/7 years back, but have you ever thought of the actal reason? How many people can actually keep the cats there by spending such a high amount? This is only adding to more stray population!! They ask 10,000 bucks for each cat upfront & then call themselves an NGO?? Nice money minting project this one actually is!
