  • wow man how much were the cleans, deadlift, and the snatches in this vid man. beast video man keep it up

  • the cleans were 264, I think the snatches were 176 and the deads might have been 308. They are bumpers, not as heavy as they look

  • You prefer 'touch n go' Deadlift above 'deadstop' Deadlifts?

  • No, I like both. I look at it like this... whats better, hardstyle kettlebell, or GS ? Both have their advantages. Whats the goal? There is benefit for all types of training, and I try to incorporate as much as possible into my programs, while still keeping things simple for beginners to advance quickly and safely. I think sticking with one style is good until you plateau, then the slightest change in style, hand position, foot stance, singles, multiple reps, etc. can bust you out of the rut

  • what is your opinion on the powerlifts. I rarely see you training the bench press or deadlift. do you just prefer functional strength with bodyweight to absolute strength or what?

  • i love the power lifts, i use them regularly. Keep watching. I just do not use them so much in my training because there is so much better info out there on this type of training. Go to EliteFTS, or Westside, etc and guys like AJ Roberts will provide elite technique instruction. They are basic lifts that are unparalleled in building monster athletes. I use them with my athletes and personally weekly. I do however think the bench can at times be over utilized by many young athletes
