Here goes, hope you have the time to watch, READ, rate, comment, etc. (and enjoy :) )
I always find it so hard to organize time;
The idea of living in the moment is a wonderful yet highly difficult one. Past, present, and future always blur together. I am constantly going over events, analyzing plans, and thinking of things not relevant to 'the moment.' With constant reminders and connections to everything going on in life, it is so easy to overthink things. I am a massive procrastinator and with that, I am also a huge worrier. These two traits lead me to, as you guys have probably noticed, concentrate on anything other than "the now".
Recently, my life has been quite wonderful. I have had a lot of time to devote to thinking and reflecting in a healthy way, not a anxious, rushed, non beneficial way. I've been able to compartmentalize a lot easier lately than I have been able to in the last few years.
Life happens. It may not happen how we want it to happen, it may not happen how we'd like it to happen, but it happens. There's nothing we can do (technically speaking) to slow down time. There are ways we can cope with the idea of things moving too quickly but really what we need to learn to do is keep up with or "go with the flow" of the pace.
Sometimes it's even better just to sit back and allow yourself to drift. "Give away the illusion of control" as a yoga instructor of mine once said.

Sorry for these ramblings. I suppose this is how my insomniac brain is working (long story short, I had an allergic reaction to a face product and am on a huge dose of prednisone- a steroid- which is causing me random bouts of insomnia so I have not gotten nearly enough sleep recently which is causing me to think... differently...)
I am officially trying to put my worrying, micromanaging, and future-dreading to the side and life in the moment. Be with my horse, with my friends, with my own mind right now. I am going to have major changes coming at the end of the summer but those are happening whether I dread them or not. My feelings won't stop time from passing though they could certainly make it appear to pass quicker.
We'll see what "this time tomorrow" brings. I know the last 2 years, 7 months and some odd days have brought me more than I could ever imagined. This horse is incredible, he has come so far and taught me so much. I could go on for days about how proud I am of him and how much I love him and what he means to me, but I just don't have the time or energy (I'd rather just go hug him, ya know?).
I hope you all enjoy the video, I actually enjoy this one 0.o

These clips are (mostly) from when my wonderful sisterfriendperson tess allowed me to kidnap her and bring her to my house :) http://youtube.com/draftsrus
The song is wonderful and Tess and I actually went to a concert and saw Trent Dabbs (the singer...) and Anderew Belle a week ago. It was incredible!
Oh and one more thing-- Another long story short, I bought myself the Nikon D5100. I am officially broke but I am so in love with it. It's crazy to be able to auto focus on a video when I'm too lazy xD
This was shot with a Nikon D5100 with a 50mm f/1.8 lens (I won't answer you if you ask, sorry...)
Hershey is a 17hh, 8ish year old percheron for those of you who don't know
I used Final Cut Express 4 to make this

Ride ride ride! that would be how organize time lol! Always live in the moment. It took me forever to learn that.
You two move so beautifully together, have considered doing any shows??

@initotwinit Thank you! We did a show or two last fall. It's not really "our" thing. Hershey gets super anxious when presented with such new situations so I don't really feel the need to push him into doing something that isn't really all that rewarding for either of us. Perhaps in the future, though :)
