This was originally recorded as part of Trial Part 3 entitled 'One-Hit Wonder'.

I lost chunks of Part 3 footage when DVD recorder got broken, so instead of showing various weapons as planned, I'm showing a full 'uncut' version of Mission 17 in Heaven or Hell mode with Gilgamesh.

The Part 3 Trial was planned:

Heaven or Hell mode
No Long range weapon
No Defensive styles (Trickster & Royal Guard)
No Damage & Item

In Heaven or Hell mode, you can kill enemies with a single hit so it's a great way to revenge! The downside is, you also get killed instantly... so long range weapons are definitely your best friends.

It's tricky if you are using Gilgamesh in this mode - because you have to be up close and personal with enemies. Unleashing combo is very dangerous, as you end up punching air after enemies die. Also Gilgamesh's strong styles are too slow & unnecessary. The best way is, 'hit & run'.

Mission 17 is very annoying, as it has bunch of enemies gathered at once, and you wouldn't believe how many times I got killed by a tiny 'scratch'.

All in all, if you want to use Gilgamesh, I recommend combining Trickster for your sanity!

*Note*
I'm very happy with the first section (Port) - I nailed Bianco/Alto Angelos as they spawn, so it went perfectly. The second section is always unpredictable, as Assaults can block your attack & Mephisto will pierce you through walls.

Most annoying part is 'Business District' where it becomes chaos with spawning enemies and obstacles. I have first 3 enemies in plan, but all else is basically 'keep foot off the ground', particularly to avoid fire balls from Basilisks.

I was so glad my strategy worked against flying enemies in the last section (the Plaza). As for the boss fight... you probably didn't even notice it happened!

  • its pretty unfair that you got a C rank when you cant really be stylish when its 1 hit kill

  • I know, there's no chance to accumulate your stylish points!

  • maybe taunting after every 2 kill might help

  • Maybe if you have Trickster - I wouldn't recommend if you are playing the same rule (no Trickster allowed) though.

  • sorry!! i can see the "Heaven or Hell" xD

    good video^^

  • Thanks! (^_^)

  • "You can walk through the whole HoH mode only using your pistol."

Point being, moron, that he didn't. He went through it using Gilgamesh, which puts you easily within hitting (and killing) distance. Did you see a pistol? I didn't.

Tell you what. If it's so easy, make a video of you doing HoH mode, Mission 17, using Gilgamesh and no pistols. Shouldn't be hard, since apparently anyone can do it.

  • That was funny with the scientist boss, "You dare-UGH!"

  • rofl and this is suppose to be hard?

  • There's actually a way where you can hit the enemy more than once and build up your stylish gauge.

Exceed attacks. For some reason the enemy stays a-float in mid-air when performing that forward-dash Exceed attack. Make sure to have it above Level 1 though.

  • "You dare... AAAAAH!!" XD

  • How come more time consuming Divine dragon is weaker than Real impact. Who will gonna use divine dragon when less time consuming real impact is the strongest. -Divine Dragon is the uppercut with the maximum charged gilgamesh. and other gilgamesh moves has this maximum charged attacks that are weaker.

  • 0:34 Dante fell asleep XD

  • @Zinayzen HoH mode is easy at long range yes that is right but who ever said it is easy at close range is way wrong its the ultimate test of being able to dodge and avoid attacks if you can beat this mode in close range fights only you might have a good chance at no damage taken play throughs.

  • The best ever gilgamesh skill is Kick 13...

  • its funny @ 5:41 :P "You dare.. ah!!!"

  • @kittendekupi what I did to make heaven or hell mode a little more amusing is with Nero I would always use showdown and while he's charging it I'd shoot summoning swords and the time he slashed they were dead ^^ and for bosses I would usaully do a rainbow :P

  • What program did you use to record this with sounds???
