Do NOT learn the song up front, play as fast as you can to conceil your lack of tonal knowledge, upload your first take to Youtube. And most importantly to fake your way to "Success" : when you get too carried away, make serious faces so it looks like you didn`t screw up.

  • If a guitarist did this people would be like wow thats amazing. I think its even better that you did it on bass, considering you are amazing at bass it fit though, keep the great work coming.

  • @bon2bonn Much appreciated.

  • dude stop fighting with fucking jealous idiots who cant play as well as you so their mad like little babies and answer my question! Did you really improvise this or did you write this out? either way is impressive but it would make more sense if you wrote this man cuz it clicks nice! If it is truly all improv then please share with me a tip in your opinion to improving so accurately. Are you trained in theory?

  • @FingersBassChannel Arguing with trolls in a behaved manner is an art form.I know the song as in how the arrangements go, not the notes so it`s as described - all improvised from the get go. No, I don`t have any pointers on improvising as it`s all by ear and not following any distinct logic.

  • @bajskung truee cuz the feel is perfect so i had to know lol. how long you been playin? and you got a band by any chance? and one last question on repeat lol THEORY?! do you read music or have studied theory at some point or another if not currently? Really dig your style and your tone man. Your double thumb technique is solid. Sorry bout all the questions but i wouldnt be commenting if i wasnt impressed haha

  • @FingersBassChannel Just check my channel for related bands like Spawn of Possession, Deeds of Flesh etc. I`ve been playing for about 18 years, studied music for a few years but haven`t had interest in theory for the past 10 years or so.Haven`t been practicing or had any interest in bass for the past 5 years, so I`m really not the go-to guy when it comes to educational pointers in any instance. Thanks, though.

  • Haha nice jamming, we can appreciate the humor in this. Some of it is over the top yes but hilarious and played well! And it doesn't sound out of key to the song.

  • Most metal shirt I've ever seen. You, sir, are a legend.

  • @bajskung Hey man do you offer lessons? (in person?) And how did you get into Warwick basses? More and more people in metal seem to be waking up and using them (as they are monsters for it!) Your attitude is so refreshing for metal haha, too many people are too die hard metal. Love your playing man, best wishes! AC

  • haha I love this! Some of the more over the top parts had me laughing my ass off.

  • U play good man! A lil bit exaggerated, but it sounds good!

Keep doin' awesome jobs like this one =)

    Greetings from brazil!

  • hey man, love the work! do you mind if I ask how much that Warwick set you back?

  • Hey, I wouldn't mind you ruining that Rick Rolled song. No doubt your capability on bass. Keep it up.
