Batman Arkham Asylum Demo on my pc.

This demo only reflects a small 15 minute part of the game but let me tell you it was a awsome 15 minutes. The style off the game coupled with the gripping, exciting combats and add in the impressive graphics makes an engrossing demo.

Played on:

9600gso 384mb
e7200 @3.2ghz
3gb 667 ram

At 1440x900 with 2xaa All high and Physx off I was getting a steady 40-60 fps without FRAPS

With Fraps i was getting 15-20 :P low i know but it is just to show what the demo has to offer.

the 9800gt is good but not 2x better lol its a rebranded 8800gt and i had a 8800gt and it wasnt much faster than my gso tbh anyways im hopefully get a hd 5770 for xmas

A real 9600 gso with 96 sp 192 bit bus and gddr3 will trade blows with a 9600gt so no 2x better bs. Also a 9600gso should have more longevity since it has more shader power. A 9600 gso should easily handle Batman AA and SF4 at that resolution.

yea theres too many kinds of GSO i found out.. anyway I ended up buying a used 9800GT OC edition.. still waiting on it tho ^_^

I really wanna get the 9600 gso to play this game and street fighter IV... whats your fps like on 1280 x 720? what about with physX on?

Dude phyx on this game is what makes it lagg lol

you can put AA to the max but not Physx lol

I CAN MAX IT OUT AND STILL GET 37FPS AVG
