I wrote a different version of this song as a duet for my best friend's short play. His name is Alan Berks. There's a couple of flubbed lines, but it's a great performance by actor/singers Simone Perrin and Phil Callen.

Hello everyone! Happy Halloween!

Here's another song that I wrote. It's called "Sweet Perdita (I Wish I Was Your Whiskey)". Yes, it's another long title, but the song is really long too, so maybe that's okay!

It's about a bartender in love with a drunk singer. It's a country song, with a dash of Tom Waits. I apologize for the swear words, but they just worked so well.

Oh yeah, about the length of the song... Sorry! I hope you guys can make it through.

did you know that Perdita means "little lost one?" It's also the name of one of the main characters in Shakespeare's "the Winters Tale," so named because she gets abandoned on an island. that's what I thought of when I saw this, and it was most excellent!
