Bluepump, VLOM water Handpump from Sadeer and Ventus aviation

The durable and sustainable water hand pump the "BluePump" concept started in 2003 with the Rural Water Development project in Kenya and was further developed with extensive field testing in Africa.

The BluePump has been installed in shallow wells and deep boreholes up to 100 meters deep all over Africa. Used for water well rehabilitations and new drillings alike, the subsurface "Beers Pumping System" (BPS) allows easy pumping even for children and is very efficient. The BPS can be considered as practically maintenance free due to the fact it has no rubber seals. All other components are made from heavy duty materials able to operate in corrosive water conditions.

The BluePump is very reliable and under normal conditions with little or no maintenance the BluePump can operate trouble free for up to 10 years. The BluePump is therefore considered by international experts as the most reliable Village-level operation and maintenance (VLOM) handpump on the market today
