Well there's normally tow teams (can have more) which have a dude driving a 'low class' car (this is the mouse), the rest on the team are in 'high class' cars (the cats).... Now with both teams set up like this, when it starts the goal is to get your mouse across the finish line first, and slow the other one down.
So either,
Protect your mouse or,
Attack the other mouse or,
both.
