Truck Avoiding RCMP Spot Check

Codiac R.C.M.P. had a spot check set up this afternoon around 4 P.M. on Vaughan Harvey Blvd in the north and south bound lanes between St. George & John street. It didn't take long before Officers were pulling over vehicles for expired tags, inspection stickers, seat belts and even for suspended license due to unpaid child support. The Province now suspends driving privileges you owe child support. One driver in a truck spotted the Police and backed down Vaughan Harvey onto St. George by where the Army Tank is, and took off east on St,. George Street avoiding the spot check.

@TRIXSTER03. They ask such information only if you are pulled over and they are conducting an investigation. They do not check for a warrant with said information if it is a traffic stop. BUT use the relevant information to pass on the infraction notice. In the above instance they have no right. The sticker does not prove that the vehicle is fit for roads or not. It is a tax and that is it.
