Mainstream is all about money now and it's been a brainwashing process that got us this far. It's gotten so bad that people have forgotten what real talent is, and the worst part is that few mainstream musicians can actually sing. The music sounds generic and the composition is boring; the lyrics are even worse. Autotuning is being ENCOURAGED too, type in I Am T-Pain Microphone. Real music still exists everywhere, you just have to find it. You probably have a band close to you with real talent.

@Burn516 Why isn't rock hitting the charts, it's because of the shit like rap and hip hop, I'm sorry but I don't think it takes musical talent to talk and swear into a microphone and to come up with simple, catchy beats that anyone with the slightest sense of rythm can come up with.
