Hey Pookz & DZ! I have such respect and much love for you two...My problem with relationships are that I tend to put in more than I receive. Often underestimated/misunderstood. I explain what it is that I want (in the begining) and usually my wants and their wants are "mutual." But for some odd reason, I always seem to get "played." I don't know why that is...Is there a such thing as being TOO NICE??

Sorry for the late response.... One thing that me and wife have done over the last 6 years is reality! I think putting people on pedestals and high expections is kind of dooming... I'm not saying that you shouldn't have expections in a relationship, but not so much pressure to where the can't meet! Like you guys said, communication, trust, and knowing who you are as a person will get you what you need and not want.

I agree with what y'all are saying. i can only date someone if I can picture a future with them. there is no point in dating just to date. My girl and I have been dating for 3 1/2 yrs. We have overcome a lot. But she still does not like that I did try it with a guy once in the past just to see I did not like it and that was the end of it. But she gets upset sometimes if i have guy friends and what not because she thinks they are going to hit on me. I tell her not to worry.. what should i do?
