Der amerikanische Folkrocksänger wächst in Jackson, Tennessee, auf. Zunächst wird er Englischlehrer, bevor er 1988 sein Debütalbum "Memory In The Making" aufnehmen darf. "Red Blue Jeans" handelt von einem rockmusikbegeisterten russischen Mädchen mit "Stalin an der Wand und den Beatles im Regal".

Thanks for this post I was think of him this morning as I was remembering places I played. We did a gig as a warm up band for him in Memphis. I thought he was a creative writing professor at Memphis State. Now a preacher. You can sleep when you dead boy is one of his greatest lines. Thanks again for the post
