@jimigarner Just saw your video where you make underground shelters which explains your comments. I would also say that the door on your shelter and the turbine could be impacted easily by debris. Neither would stand up to the 2x4 test probably. It is pretty cool that this guy actually does test his product unlike most other manufacturers.
All that aside the music videos on your site were awesome, especially Rob Zombie!

There was a fire station in AL made into a saferoom. 8" concrete/steel rebar. Same on the roof. After an EF4 went through, nothing was left. Couldn't tell it was even there. You have to be fully underground for large tornadoes. Tornadoes also just don't shoot a 2x4 right at the door, that's no test at all. Throw a SUV upside the shelter.

Looking at their website it looks like the door has been tested at the wind research center at Texas Tech. I think they fire a 2x4 at 100 mph to verify that the door will take that kind of a hit.

@jjoni18 They way climates tend to shift they might have one some day. And if they have anything like in Joplin lets see how well they hold up. I lived in Europe for 2 years and trust me 90% of the structures there are NOT made from reinforced concrete.

I'm not real impressed with your testing procedures. Dropping dead weight from 20 to 30 feet is nothing compared to the force of a tornadoes winds forcing an object where it should not be. The latest EF-5 at Joplin put regular red bricks through steel plate with no damage to the bricks themselves.
Fire some 2x4's from a compressed air cannon at your door over 100mph and see how your door holds up.
The unit looks nice and secure but looks can be deceiving.
