If that were me in your shoes I'd be tempted to smack her upside the head.
I hate it when people like her go to Zoo's. Totally takes the fun out of the trip.
It's nice to hear the Gorilla enclosure is wide enough for them, however.

He wants some privacy, it must be torture having people and annoying little kids watching you all day.

I was at that very corner a few years ago and even back then the gorilla was testy. There was this annoying big black woman, who got a kick out of the ape acting up, screaming like she was on a haunted house amusement ride, telling everyone loudly how she would run if there were no glass.
I mentioned that, according to Gorillas in the Mist, that's exactly what you shouldn't do, but it was drowned out in the excitement.
But the enclosure is large. The animal could simply go somewhere else.

Poor gorilla, the look on his face breaks my heart :( Animals were NEVER meant to be in zoos and certainly should not be subjected to this type of torment.
