@CCCPKPSS Yes. the russians do focus on pattern and movement. I have watched them on you tube when they did their drill scenario when they had different military drill teams there in moscow. It is a good drill they did. Each country focuses on different styles of drill for their drill teams. Why I never compare one coutries drill team to another. If they all did the same style drill, then yes. You can compare.

There is a big difference you are correct. I know for a fact that Honor Guard concentrates on the pattern and movement of all the people that are taking part. The Marines are more about hand movement with rifles.

@CCCPKPSS The russian honor guard is good, but they lack the sharpness that the silent drill team has. If you watch closely the timeing that the silent drill team has when they are doing the rifle drills is not spot on. These are timed to less than a second. The Russian Honor Guard is still very good, but not as sharp.

Nice, but the Russian Presidential Guard is way better. The russians have a certain air of formality this one lacks. These are practically cheer-leaders.
