what brand of string do you use and gauge?

I use Dean Markley Alchemy GoldPhos
12 gauge. They never snap and last for ages!

That sounds really good! What microphone and other equipment did you use to record it?

Thanks for your comment! I use an SE 2200A mic into a laptop via a Mackie Spike (unreliable!) USB interface. I record into Tracktion audio software (which was bundled with the Spike) to record with. Reverb is added with the freeware SIR vst plug-in.

Beautiful.
Years ago, I gave the Legg CD on which this appears to my dad.
Dad passed away in January, and his old car was passed on to me.
Buried inside a compartment was this old CD, which I'd only heard once or twice before.
This piece immediately put a lump in my throat and made me think of my father.
I think it's the most beautiful guitar piece I've ever heard.
Bless Adrian Legg for writing it, and bless you for playing it so beautifully.
