Small Biography:
Marc Anthony Jackson (born January 16, 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player. After a college career at Temple University, he was drafted in the second round (37th overall) of the 1997 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors; however he did not commence play with them until 2000. Fearing that they would lose out as there was no guarantee he would sign a second contract with them, the Warriors traded Jackson to the Minnesota Timberwolves before the trade deadline in February 2002, where he played for 1½ seasons. In 2003, he signed with the Philadelphia 76ers. They traded him to the New Jersey Nets during the 2005 off season, after a deal to bring in Shareef Abdur-Rahim from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Nets fell through. Before the 2005-06 trade deadline, he was traded by the New Jersey Nets to the New Orleans Hornets. He was named to the 2000-2001 NBA All-Rookie team as a member of the Golden State Warriors. In 2007 he signed with the legendary Greek League team Olympiacos, but he did not fit in the system of the team's new coach Panagiotis Giannakis so he was released. In August, 2008, Jackson was signed by UNICS Kazan of the Russian Super League

  • jeeeeeez they were demoishing boston lol

  • @germantown555 WHO IS THE PLAYER

  • Lol my names marc jackson

  • He had a decent career so he wasn't a complete bust.

  • @najeenixonnixon Yeah he should of....I feel so bad about Colemans career.Where he did have a few good seasons, he easily had the same potential as Kevin garnett, Rasheed , lamarcus aldridge, Kevin love.....He could of been one of the best stretch big man in the game.Injuries and attitude limited him to a fraction or what he could of been.

  • Coleman should've retired in Philly. Cased closed.

  • @najeenixonnixon I would of expected Brown to try and bring him to Charlotte , especially with the loss of Felton.Brown is Notorious for bringing in his old players even sometimes when they are well past their prime...I.E. derrick coleman from the Sixers when he coached Detroit....Sixers got a still very productive Corliss williamson. Coleman just retired after about 5 games.

  • He did have a good season, up until the time he took his personal leave. He was the teams best playmaker and he showed that he could still score. His numbers were a lil down but it was obvious that he could still play. Im just as surprised as you that the Sixers didn't resign him. Thats the place where he should end his career. Not Turkey. I would've even loved seeing him playing in Charlotte with Larry Brown.

  • @najeenixonnixon I agree......I was hoping Iverson was going to hve a good season in philly last year.....Sucks what happened. Then at the beginning of this season i was hoping they would give him another chance, under the circumstances its understandable why he had to leave.
